Draft Transportation Improvement Program
FY 2008-2012
The FY 2008-2012 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a multi-year listing of federally funded and regional significant non-federally funded improvements to the region's transportation system. The TIP also contains the Transit Priority of Projects (POP). The Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission (LDCPC), in its role as MPO, reviews and adopts the TIP.The public is invited to read the Draft FY 2008-2012 Transportation Improvement Plan. A copy of the draft plan is also available for review at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont Street, Lawrence, Kansas and Lawrence City Hall in the Planning Office. The public is encouraged to submit any comments or concerns regarding the TIP as this will aid staff and the MPO in developing a document that is valuable to the public. Written comments may be emailed to dmorgan@ci.lawrence.ks.us or mailed to the Lawrence Douglas County Metropolitan Planning Office, P.O. Box 708, Lawrence, KS 66044-0708, Attention: Davonna Moore. The official 30 day public comment period will begin March 20, 2008 and will end April 18, 2008.
