Planning Commission
The Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Commission typically meets on Mondays and Wednesdays of the fourth week of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Commission Room on the first floor of City Hall. The Planning Commission publishes a schedule of meeting dates for the calendar year, which establishes deadlines for submittals and identifies meeting dates. (Meetings are typically held the third week during of the months of March, November and December due to spring break and the holidays.)

Planning Commission Members
The Commission is comprised of ten (10) members who jointly represent the City of Lawrence and the unincorporated areas of Douglas County. Planning Commission members are appointed by either the Mayor or the County Chair and serve three-year terms. Commission members are eligible for two consecutive terms.Planning Commission Agendas
